After Microsoft's billion-dollar subsidy to OpenAI, they have been thinking all day about how to make a profit. From Newbing to Copilot, they always restrict the user experience and I haven't been able to use it until now. Several friends have asked me if there is an AI tool that can make PPTs, so today I will share a Copilot PPT alternative tool called "chat-PPT".
This is an AI tool that generates PPTs based on natural language descriptions. Below, I will demonstrate the registration and usage methods.

First, click on "Apply for Public Beta" and register with your phone number or log in with WeChat by scanning the QR code. After testing, it is possible to directly apply for public beta. After approval, there are two ways to use it: one is the online version for web-based experience, and the other is to download the plugin package and use it in the Office PPT program.
Clicking on the online experience will allow you to use it immediately, and both the online version and the plugin version have the same features. The plugin version has many features that the online version does not have, so here I will only demonstrate the usage of the plugin version.
First, click on the download and installation package. After installation, open PPT and you will see a Motion Go button at the top. This is our chatPPT plugin.
After clicking on the plugin, you will see a row of tabs below, with rich functionality. Depending on your needs, you can switch between the Play version and the Pro version, with the Pro version having more features.
I won't demonstrate the specific functions of each button here. I will send the "Product Guide" link of this product later, and you can watch it yourself. Here, I will only demonstrate the use of chatPPT to generate PPTs, which is the chatPPT function on the right side.
Clicking on the chatPPT button will bring up a dialog box where you can enter your own requirements.
On the left side, there are three buttons, and I will introduce them separately:
- Content Style: Select different content styles based on the scene of the PPT.
- Color Language: Control the overall style of the PPT.
- Import and Generate PPT: chatPPT can generate content on its own or import your own content to generate PPT based on it.
Here, I will demonstrate generating a PPT titled "Introduction to chatPPT Usage". I will select the Professional content style and random color language. After clicking the Generate button on the right, chatPPT will start generating automatically.
First, it will generate several titles based on its understanding for users to refer to. After selecting a title, it will generate several outline options for users to choose from as well.
After selecting, chatPPT will automatically execute text generation, layout, animation settings, and finally rendering. The whole process no longer requires manual work, and you can clearly see what chatPPT is doing at each step. The whole process is that simple. If you are not satisfied with the results, you can use other functional buttons under the Motion Go plugin to make modifications.
Summary:
- Perhaps considering that each user has different fonts and commercial copyright issues, the default generated fonts are not very good-looking, so users need to modify them themselves.
- For the usability of the content, it is recommended to provide your own documents and then let chatPPT generate based on them.
- Your own documents need to be uploaded to the server. For the privacy and security of your own documents, it is recommended not to use the original text, such as for graduation defense PPTs, it is recommended to write a PPT outline document first and then upload it, instead of directly uploading your graduation design document.
- The generated content may have some differences from what you want. Please study the "Product Guide" carefully.
